Did a stay at the Hilton Singapore last weekend and paid a base rate of SGD$200, which came up to SGD$234 after tax. I received 14,201 in total for that stay. Extremely good a deal, since I value each Hilton point at 0.6 cents. This works out to a "rebate" of almost SGD$85.20.
Of course there are more uses for 14,201 points. I can do 2 nights at a Category 1 hotel like the Hilton Garden Inn Bali Ngurah Rai Airport or 1 night in a Category 2 hotel like the Doubletree by Hilton Johor Bahru, which will cost way more than $85.20. The possibilities are way more than just these 2 properties, in fact there are 227 hotels for you to choose from worldwide.
